We need HELP! The Forsyth Festival parade is THIS Saturday, 9:45 am, and we need a few more volunteers to walk, throw candy, and pass out microwave popcorn with TrueNorth stickers on them! This is an easy opportunity to be part of a community parade and get the word OUT about TrueNorth! If you are able to help please let me know ASAP! I will let you know where and when to meet. It should be over by 10:15! Wear TrueNorth t-shirt if you have one!
The ONE PRAYER Series continues this Sunday with "GOD is... STRENGTH"! Pastor Francis Chan, Cornerstone Community Church, will challenge us this Sunday with a tremendous message about the power and strength that we can find in God! So many times, we get defeated in life and can't seem to be the LIGHT that God calls us to be. Be here this Sunday and be reminded that God wants us to be strong and courageous! This is another great message that you DON'T want to miss!
CLASS 101 is coming quickly! Sunday, June 28, 6-8:30 pm, at Ling's Landing, 2150 E. Locust St., What is Class 101, glad you asked; Steve and I will help you understand what TrueNorth is all about and why TrueNorth exists! If you choose, you may become a member of TrueNorth at the end of the night. The class is for ANYONE, (teenage and older) who is interested in learning more about TrueNorth! Did I mention there is a FREE meal included! There is NO childcare provided! PLEASE sign-up at guest services THIS Sunday!
